Patient Coordinator

About the Role

The Patient Coordinator is responsible for checking patients out and providing friendly, prompt assistance while coordinating patient care. The Patient Coordinator will review provider orders to determine necessary treatment plans and schedule appropriate follow-up appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide education to patients regarding services and treatments offered.
• Check out patients and complete patient charts accurately.
• Schedule patients appropriately for follow-up services and appointments.
• Manage multiple phone lines professionally and efficiently.
• Enter information into Labcorp, pull PRP and Calvin Scott when needed.
• Print correct labels from Calvin Scott.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Communicate front office supply needs to the Chief Executive Officer.
• Accurately post payments and provide receipts to patients.
• Document payment methods appropriately on reports.
• Complete payment method documentation accurately.
• Balance the cash register appropriately.
• Maintain organization and professionalism at all times.
• Submit pre-purchases and redeems daily to the Chief Executive Officer.
• Process phone payments accurately.
• Maintain provider flow and communicate with the Chief Executive Officer regarding delays or scheduling issues.
• Actively promote spa treatments, services, retail products, memberships, promotions, and discounts.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Regularly attend, participate in, and support staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
• Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by the Chief Executive Officer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
