Esthetician

About the Role

The Esthetician will perform skin, body, and hair removal treatments. The Esthetician will consult with clients to assess their needs, make informed recommendations, explain services, assist with selecting appropriate treatments, and ensure exceptional care and satisfaction. The Esthetician will ensure treatments start and end on time.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history for possible contraindications and report any adverse reactions to the supervising physician.
• Provide laser hair removal treatments and other services including weight loss support, Emsculpt, facials, and additional spa treatments.
• Review labs and consult with patients when needed.
• Advise patients on skincare and recommend suitable treatments and home care regimens.
• Answer questions from patients, staff, and physicians.
• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring patient safety.
• Be prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted.
• Effectively inform and educate patients about wellness and skincare concerns.
• Conduct consultations to determine the best treatments and create individualized plans of care.
• Properly care for equipment and use appropriate amounts of products to assist with cost control.
• Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
• Uphold standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and spa policies and procedures.
• Perform prep work, properly clean, and restock treatment rooms when needed.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, retail products, memberships, promotions, and discounts.
• Cross-promote all spa services.
• Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to patient requests.
• Accurately document patient treatments in patient charts.
• Regularly attend, participate in, and support staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
• Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by the Chief Executive Officer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
